This immaculate home on Warrior Drive in Vincent has been owned and lovingly cared for by its owners, Gary and Jo Ann Vanwey for 56 years. Jo actually grew up in the house next door and when the opportunity arose for them to purchase this home soon after they were married they jumped at the chance. The house next door originally was burned and town down in the 1980's and Gary and Jo purchased the lot as well as the lot on the opposite side of their home. This gave them plenty of room to add a large garage and a gazebo for relaxing. An older neighbor told them years ago that he remembered their house being built in the l930's with hand-hewn timber. The Vanwey's pride of ownership is evident in the picturesque beauty of the abundant well-kept landscaping. They say that even though the closeness with their neighbors over the years has changed from when they had weekly card parties and knew everyone, they still feel that they would not be able to find a more suitable place to call home than the one they have.
