Chance & Deanna Cochran

From one glance a person could tell that they have put in so much work on their home located at 100 Charles Street. The house wasn’t always this pretty though. In 1998, Mr. Cochran noticed this house was going up for auction. At the time he lived close by and was curious to see what it was all about. As he looked in the house he noticed all the timeless original woodwork and was sold on it immediately. He went to auction, won the bid, and got right to work. The house had a long way to go with not even having a bathroom in the original build. As Mr. Cochran was doing the renovations he stripped all the original would work, refinished it, and returned it to its rightful place. During his renovations of the mantle, Mr. Cochran discovered an old receipt dating the house back to 1916. Since purchasing it he has updated nearly everything, including a new roof, new siding, new windows, new electrical, new utility lines, new additions built, new everything! 100 Charles St. is a prime example of what hard work and determination can do for an old house that just needed a little bit of love.
