The Marietta Board of REALTORS® would like to congratulate, Jeff and Vicki Stevens, for winning the September 2021 Home of The Month. A few years ago, when Vicki came back to the area looking to relocate closer to her family, she enlisted Jeff’s help looking for a new home. And that is how they met and eventually married.
Talk about Pride. This beautiful home at 2104 Pride Ave needed some help. When Jeff approached the owner, they were in the middle of a remodel. Jeff negotiated a price that allowed them to stop where they were and walk away. This began the journey for Jeff and Vicki to make this house their own.
Since taking ownership they have taken this average house and turned it into a beautiful lodge style home. With improvements from cedar trim, M-Rock stone, siding, soffits, gutters, and a new deck, also concrete walkways, driveways and a new garage big enough for 6 vehicles with a camper port on the side, and a carport on the home. It doesn’t even look the same.
On the inside they replaced the entire kitchen, pulled all the carpet and refinished all of the hardwood floors, and added a suite bath to the master bedroom. With the full basement finished with a craft area and man cave area, this house was transitioned to fit what the Stevens’ wanted in a new home.
And that back yard with beautiful Cedar Panel fencing, deck, sunshade and 2 - 100 ft maple trees that provides shade no matter what time of day, is the perfect place to relax after a long hard day.
The community is used to seeing this home get attention. Every holiday they take joy in decorating the large garage and home which sits close to the main road and is the cause for many visitors to stop and enjoy or take pictures.
