The Marietta Board of REALTORS® would like to congratulate the Glover family for winning the Home of the Month for June of 2021. This beautiful mid-century home was built in the 1950’s and recently acquired by Tim and Julie Glover. They moved into the home in October of 2019. The history of the home says that this was one of the first to be built in Devola which used to be the original 200-acre vegetable farm and named for the Devol Family.

This open concept single story Ranch is a joy for the family. The fenced in backyard is perfect for their dogs and the family enjoys relaxing and entertaining in what they feel is a park like oasis. This neighborhood close to town is so quiet and they love that everyone takes pride in their homes. Although the house fit their needs, they wanted to make some changes to the exterior to give it some more character. They created a new cedar front porch sitting area with a natural stone wall, custom cedar shutters, and the new garage doors. Adding a stamped concrete sidewalk, flower window boxes, and landscaping round out the beautiful curb appeal. Finishing off the interior with all new doors from Amish country, the Glover family is happy to call this their home.
