Marietta Board of REALTORS® would like to recognize...

630 5th Street, Marietta Ohio

Will Hampton and Marilee Morrow are the proud owners of their home at 630 5th St in Marietta. Like many people they decided to spend their down time during this challenging COVID time freshening up their beautiful family home.

They started their life in Marietta with a house closer to the college, but Marilee had her eye on a place she knew would be their perfect home. As the house was being used as an investment property, Marilee was tenacious in her pursuit and eventually convinced the owner to give them the opportunity to buy. This beautiful home, built in the 1850’s, was where they could finally settle down and finish raising their three children. The oldest Erin, who now lives in New York City, loves where she is at, but misses the small town she grew up in. Then there is Oscar, who is closer, attending Ohio Northern and Tucker, who is attending Marietta College. All of whom have always appreciated taking walks and playing with friends in their safe neighborhood. The Marietta Board of REALTORS® wants to congratulate this family for winning Home of The Month for September 2020. We all appreciate what they have done to make Marietta a beautiful place to live.

The Marietta Board of REALTORS® awards this honor as the Home of the Month to a resident in Washington Co. who maintained their home in outstanding condition with a good looking exterior and appropriate landscaping. The program was designed to recognize those homeowners who do an exceptional job keeping their house lovely. It is also to encourage others to do the same. Thank you to Will and Marilee, your efforts have created an outstanding example of Washington County's beautiful and well-kept homes.
