Congratulations to Dorothy Erb of 509 4th Street in Marietta for winning the house of the month for May 2019!
This beautiful home built in 1870 has been in the family since 1971. The Erb’s raised a beautifully blended family in this gem that they lovingly enlarged and upgraded over the years using a local contractor to help them maintain the same woodworking details all while maintaining its original structure and hardwood floors. Raising four children in this family home was a perfect location for work and two of the daughters were married in the church right next door. It is the central location for the family holidays still today. We want to thank the Erb family for their contribution to Washington County with this wonderfully maintained home. Again congratulations to Dorothy Erb.
